Sandra Bullock, Madonna Give To Haiti Relief

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Sandra Bullock said Friday she donated $1 million toward Haitian earthquake relief, and Madonna announced she gave $250,000 toward the effort as celebrity aid continued to pour into the devestated country.

Bullock’s contribution went to Doctors Without Borders’ emergency operations in Port-Au-Prince, where three of the organization’s existing facilities were damaged by the magnitude 7.0 quake.

“I wanted to ensure that my donation would be used immediately to meet the needs of the Haitian people affected by this catastrophic event,” said Bullock in a statement.

Madonna’s gift was to Partners In Health, a longtime medical provider in Haiti.

“I urge all of my friends and fans around the world to join me collectively to match my contribution or give in any way you can,” she said. “We must act now.”

Earlier Friday, Not On Our Watch, an advocacy and grantmaking group founded by George Clooney, Brad Pitt and others, donated $1 million to Partners in Health.

The international Red Cross estimates 45,000 to 50,000 people were killed in the earthquake, which devastated the Caribbean nation on Tuesday.

Couple Sues KISS Rocker Gene Simmons Over Alleged Attack

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

A couple who said they were assaulted by Gene Simmons sued the KISS bassist for unspecified damages Thursday, court records show.

Nathan Marlowe and his wife Cynthia Manzo said Simmons attacked them, threatened them and took their video camera at the upscale The Grove mall on Saturday after they started filming the rocker.

The couple’s attorney, Matthew Nezhad, says a police report was filed. The couple sought a restraining order against Simmons on Wednesday, but that petition was denied.

Simmons has not been arrested and no charges have been filed.

According to the complaint and restraining order application, Marlowe asked Simmons for his view on monogamy, and Simmons responded by telling Marlowe to get his shot and leave. The filings state Simmons then lunged and attacked Marlowe, taking the video camera, then turned on Manzo when she tried to get the camera back.

A phone message seeking comment from Simmons’ entertainment attorney was not immediately returned.

The couple are seeking damages of more than $25,000 for civil claims of assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit was filed as a verified complaint, meaning Marlowe and Manzo signed it under penalty of perjury.

New mom Kendra Wilkinson is just one of the many celebrities thrilled that Christmas is just around the corner.

“Christmas was always a really big deal in my family and my mom always went all out to make it really special for me and my brother,” Kendra wrote on her official blog. “I have sooooo many amazing xmas memories and i’m sure this one will top the rest now that i’m sharing it with my son and my hubby!!! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now!”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Kendra and her husband, Hank Baskett of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, welcomed their first child together – a son, also named Hank — earlier this month. And although their baby is only a few weeks old, Kendra said she’s gearing up to create Christmas memories that will last a lifetime.

The former Playboy model also posted a photo of herself from her earlier days on Santa’s lap.

Khloe Kardashian offered her own Christmas blog, recommending her fans check out “Home Alone.”

Macauley Culken (sic) was just the cutest thing ever and I might have had a little crush on him when I was little haha,” she wrote.

“If you haven’t seen this movie then you’ve been robbed of a childhood and must go out and rent it immediately! That’s an order!!! LOL,” Khloe added.

Khloe’s sister, Kim, also wrote about Christmas on her blog from New York City.“New York is so beautiful at Christmas… very different to LA. Have you guys visited NYC at the holidays?” she asked.
